Dragon Quest Builders Registering Second Floor Rooms

The room needs to be at least 4 blocks and less than 100 blocks to register as a room.

Dragon quest builders requires them to have a light source and door to qualify as an empty room. You can still register a room even with the stairs inside. I want it to be the bedroom. The room is registering but one tile off the floor. Then i include a chest and the stone building thing and nothing. The inside is the same basic outline they give you nothing changed and the second floor is the extra bigger rooms you need like beds and kitchen. I have built and rebuilt the room sometimes just moving an item from one side of the room to another.

Need a door and lights need to be two block high at max if you want it to look like you have it hide a torch etc behind something at ground level it should register then. Are the walls all at least 2 blocks high the same height as the door. Also there is a size to take into account i can t remember the max room size but i fell victim to that on terra incognita several times. The aim is to rebuild the central town in each chapter with both the quality and quantity of the buildings and decorations contributing to an overall base level.
